I guess my Windows (Professional - Pirated) just crashed, because my memory/ram quality lives somewhere back in the early 90's. I am concerned of any trivial progress I may have lost, which mostly consists of renaming, zipping/encrypting, moving files; I noticed after windows crashed (like when the folders all disappear and only really unrelated operating system programs are open) and 'resurrected' itself, that some desktop items I deleted came back. I'd google it, but I really can't be arsed fishing through really crappy forum postings. Speaking of the 90's, I've been downloading a lot of 90's music, because I've been in that kind-of mood, lately. Adam decided (with my past persuading--I haven't brought it up more than once, very briefly recently) to take the lesser rated apartment. I'm a penny-pincher and I don't want to throw away a shitload of money just because the carpets are newer and the location is more absent of minorities (it's true the value goes down!); I also don't want our place broken into to find valuables (most specifically, my baby with shitty memory) stolen for crack-money. I just want one less thing to worry about: Having a place when we get down there. The deposit is only $200, and the lease I think not even six months. If it's that bad, we'll then be in a much better situation to relocate. It's about picking your battles. --without the quotation marks, that was basically my argument for moving into Bonnie Green. I joked to him in the car a few days ago reminded me of the name 'Cabrini Green'. Adam brought up a really good point: "[Modern North] America doesn't know what war is really like. Korea isn't going to invade us. Iraq isn't going to invade us. You can lose a war and it really sucks, but we don't even think about it, here." I've been knitting a lot. I'm only on my 2nd glass of wine, tonight; I have been consuming A LOT of caffeine, lately. I've finally gotten rid of canned veggies, and only eat frozen now. I don't know what I was thinking, before. They're way healthier and canned tastes like crap, now. Cost of the War in Iraq
